Construction Contracts In Texas

Texas Procurement and Support Services (TPASS) awards and manages hundreds of statewide contracts on behalf of more than 200 state agencies and 1,700 local government agencies. With a massive marketplace and billions of dollars in purchasing power, Texas offers abundant opportunities for vendors of a wide variety of goods and services, including minority- and women-owned businesses.

Listed below are five opportunities for construction and maintenance services. Do you have an interest and are you qualified? If so, send me an email at rmrunnels@sbcglobal.net and I will send you the internet link to the site where these opportunities are posted. What have you got to lose, it’s free and who knows, you may land a contract!

Also, it would be a good idea to register with the State as a vendor and receive bid opportunities. Manufacturers, suppliers, and other vendors wishing to furnish materials, equipment, supplies, and services to the state should register for the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) to receive bidding opportunities. The CMBL is a master database used by State of Texas purchasing entities to develop a mailing list for vendors to receive bids based on the products or services they can provide to the State of Texas.
